Drops On The Carpet
06:26
|
|||
SC1 Opening scene before the music starts.
EXT. Daisy walks down the street humming the hook from the 'Scapegod' song. It's morning. She's on her way to school. Ambiance cross-fades into music.
Alice says: 'I've left some drops on the carpet'.
Music goes on. The track ends with Alice saying 'What are those drops on the carpet?'
Alice wakes up in a motel room after a night show. And she's kind of still groggy and trying to figure out what are those stains there. Obviously, she doesn't though.

Slutlips
04:39
|
|||
SC2 INT. Shalebridge Cradle state Mental Hospital, South Dakota. Afternoon. Dr. William Hanscomb's office.
A landline phone rings.
Hanscomb: Good afternoon, Mr. Wallace.
[indistinct speech in the receiver]
Hanscomb: Yes. We've detected massive psionic activity, both alpha and beta wave in the Underworld. [pauses to listen] Yes, sir. Of course. Certainly... We're working on it. [hangs up]
The music kicks in with Alice doing her lipstick at the mirror.
Alice: Those are slutlips [repeatedly].
[Sarcastically] OMG! You look like a slut.
The track continues with Alice sardonically singing:
Everybody wants you, everybody needs you,
Everybody hates you, everybody bleeds you.
Everybody wants you, everybody needs you,
Everybody fucks you, everybody kills you.
The track ends with Alice saying once more "OMG! You look like a slut!" in a robotized voice.

Lily's Dream
06:25
|
|||
SC3. EXT. Oregon Coast. Afternoon.
The scene opens with a Down Walk 60's saxophone track which is succeeded by ocean waves breathing softly. A younger Lily (13 y.o.) dozes off to these peaceful sounds in her dad's car in the back seat.
Someone calls "Lily", and says, 'It's all beneath your skin'.
As she goes deeper and deeper into her sleep, the sea and sky get darker and darker.
Lily sings:
It's all beneath my skin,
It's tightening within,
And I don't know where to hide
And what to do.
She's scared, the wind strengthens, but there's no storm.
As we hear her breathing again, someone says "beneath your skin" another time. At the lash-like sound, the dream ends. But just before she opens her eyes and wakes up with a start the Mystery Girl appears.
MG: Lily! Time to wake up, pretty girl!

Alpenchase
04:14
|
|||
SC4. EXT. Poster highland image. Much like Swiss Alps on a 90's postcard but giving a somewhat ridiculously intense vibe of an Alpen Gold chocolate commercial
Highland ambiance with cows and sheep making noises, walking and munching on the grass
Daddy walks with Lily. Lily's 16 yo. It's a bright sunny day in June
The ambiance gently goes into the music starting in the background and building up gradually
As the music builds up, the ambiance fades
Daddy tries to embrace Lily and pushes her into his body a little too much
Lily: Daddy? W-what are you doing?
Daddy: [not letting go of her] I just so love you, darling
[trying to sound gently] Why won't you let me embrace you, sweetheart? You're such a beautiful child...
Lily: [still trying to slip out and realizing that Daddy's grip on her waist gets even tighter] Let go of me
Daddy: [catching her hand] No-no-no, sweetheart! Daddy's not letting go of such a treasure!
[sounds exaggeratedly petty] Not in a lifetime!
Lily: [now trying to tear her wrist out of his hand] Daddy, stop it! Let me go! Stop it, please!
[slips out with a painful twitch and dashes away]
Daddy: [getting angry immediately] You! You have to obey your father! [starts shouting and wailing as Lily runs further and further away] Hands! Those filthy hands! Obey your father, you little bitch!

Sex & The City
07:12
|
|||
SC.5 EXT. Night Chicago street. High heels approaching
Alice steps out of a club and rapidly walks past Daisy
Daisy: Hi, Alice!
But she just passes her by, lost in her thoughts
Alice walks past Roy Torrance that was waiting for her, lurking in the shadows
Roy: Hey! Are you like Bloodrayne or something?
Alice: Yeah
Roy: Cool! Do you suck?
Alice: Yeah
Roy: So? You wanna do it?
Alice: Yeah
Roy: [distracted] What are you doing, you taffer?
Alice: Sucking your blood
[sucks his blood and then slits his throat] Shit! He's been already dead... [disappointingly]
Music starts playing rapidly, when the track ends the last distorted note hangs on with the weird vibrato voice on top, then fades into the night city ambiance
This time there's first one siren, then the cops pull up and start inspecting the crime scene with Roy's body lying there
SC. 5.1 INT. Chicago Police Homicide Division. Next day afternoon. Reception area. Ambiance
Agent Matt Curtis walks in
Curtis: Good afternoon, Federal Bureau of Investigation, special agent Matt Curtis. I'd like to see inspector Andy Trudeau
[ambiance shifts into the sound of a closing door as Curtis walks into Trudeau's office]
Curtis: Inspector?
Trudeau: Agent?
[both sit down]
Curtis: I'm looking into the death of Roy Torrance and, as you might guess, expect full hearted collaboration on the case
Trudeau: [positively] With pleasure
Curtis: So... The report says blood suction marks, huh? Barely distinguishable due to the damn machete cut, but still there... That's not quite a typical case, is it?
Trudeau: Pretty far from typical, agent
Curtis: Any connections to satanic sects, devil worshipers, maybe?
Trudeau: None so far
Curtis: Background? Occupation? Family members?
Trudeau: We have our Winchester boys on it in South Dakota
Curtis: I hope they don't pretend to be the FBI
Trudeau: [chuckles] Of course not, agent. Certainly not

Monsters

SC.6 INT. Chicago bar. Late evening
The track opens with Midnight Chicago Jazz Band
Performing Scapegod live on stage preceded by a voice
Saying "Meanwhile..."
Drunk Laura just arrived and wants the band to play
The band just left. Daisy is not as drunk, she's comfortably
Seated and has been hanging out for awhile
Daisy: [drunk as well, in a tired voice, trying to shout out
To Laura that doesn't listen though]
Oh c'mon, Laura! Shut your damn piehole!
[Laura goes on around the place much to the amusement of the audience]
Daisy: [in a more relaxed voice, rather to herself]
Santa's in town
Bunny's in the Un... [hiccups] Underworld
Alice... in Wonderland...
[giggles]
Where's Stan?
At this point, the track starts
Alice quotes the Mulholland Drive movie all the way
Through the track as she raps and also points out to
The fact that the monsters are real towards the ending
Alice:
[intro]
No hay banda. No hay orchestra
Yo! My name is Alice, and I remember everything
[verse]
This is all a tape recording, and yet we can hear a band
If you wanna hear a clarinet don't fret, get your headset
And get a taste of my blood and sweat. Listen!
Can you feel it? Can you feel it? Can you feel the dread?
Remember what I've said?
[verse]
It's all a tape recording, it's all a tape recording
Can you hear it? Can you hear it? Are you that prone?
If you really wanna get it go ahead and listen to that muted trombone, there it is!
And a trumpet too! Just waiting to be heard in that chord by you!
Samples and stuff is all I got. And it's all wack and fucked up, man, it's shot
There is no band band band!
No hay banda, no hay orchestra
[verse]
It's all hidden in my head in a memory
Kinda creepy stuff there but yet it's me
It's me in this. It's this debris
C'mon let's see, can we dig up a cello and not disagree
On what we hear, what we know, what we think we'll see!
On what you thought, what you sought, what I couldn't be!
[hook]
There is no band but the monsters are real!
But the monsters are real!
It's all a tape-tape it's all a tape
It's all a tape-tape it's all a tape recording
Thank you, David!
I'm quoting Mulholland Drive
I'm not like Em, and I'm not Jay Z
My name is Alice, and I'm just being me
T-t-tape t-t-tape recording
No hay banda, no hay orchestra
The track closes with the same eerie voice saying:
"Lately I've been filled with a knowledge that the killer
Will strike again..."

The Pines Stood Tall
06:19
|

SC.7. Shalebridge Cradle state Mental Hospital, South Dakota. Morning
Dr. Hanscomb: [speaks on phone]
It's Dr. Hanscomb of the Shalebridge Cradle state Mental
Hospital, South Dakota. [pauses] Yes, it's important
I want to talk to inspector Trudeau. [waits]
Hi, inspector! I've read about this murder in the papers
Yes. THAT murder. Roy Torrance... [pauses]
I'm his brother's therapist. His name is Daniel Torrance
[pauses] He's a heavy case indeed. Since his brother, Roy
Got killed he's hallucinating more and more...
No, sir. We have it all under strict control
Yes, I will call you back later
[hangs up]
SC.7.1. EXT. Forest. Dawn. Birds singing
The track starts cross-fading in from the ambiance
Lily says: It's just another day...
Daddy takes Lily on a walk to the forest
The lyrics starting in the middle describe a rape scene
[verse]
And the pines stood tall to watch me fall
As the lilies bent down and saw me crawl
And the time stood still and listened to my heart
And the birds seized to sing as it pounded loud
Nobody told me, and I never knew
Where the wind came from and where the wind blew
[hook]
Let's pretend I like it this way
Let's pretend I don't feel betrayed
Let's pretend it's just another day
Let's pretend, let's pretend, let's!
Let's pretend I'm perfectly fine
With your lechy breath on my spine
Let's pretend it isn't too bad
Let's pretend I still have a dad
Let's pretend I'm happy and safe
Let's pretend it isn't a rape
Let's pretend one day I'll forget
Let's pretend I don't want you dead!
Let's pretend, let's pretend
Let's pretend I don't want you dead!
It's just another day, it's just another day...
Let's pretend. It's just another day

Churchpunk
07:31
|
|||
The track opens with the Down Walk 60's intro that ridiculously breaks and after a build up results in the following scene
SC.9 EXT. Church bells in the distance can be heard for a while
Alice:
[intro]
Oh my fucking god!
And now he's gonna drag this little girl into church
And blame it on her, blame it on her
'cuz she's the source of all original sin, yeah!
It's all fucked up in your head, man
The top is the bottom in your head, man
What a religious fanatic!
Perverted tactic
A dickhead with no balls to admit
He's the only one and motherfucking guilty. Shit!
Door closes as Daddy takes Lily into the church. He further lectures her
Daddy: [in an archaic exaggeratedly epic mentor voice]
Thou hast disobeyed thy father, Lily
Great is thine sin and dark is thine evil trickery
For thou hast lured me into lechery and fled
Therefor thou shouldst be punished and purified
By fire and iron, and prayer
[continues almost chanting]
The spot betwixt thine legs
The one that lustful desires conjure
And pleasure promises to thee
Shalt burned be
But ere that hour strikes
For thy repentance I await in hearty prayers
And rede thee never to prevent
What'er thy father craves from thee
The church epic string music starts to melt and swirl after
The speech is done to the point at which Alice is heard
Screaming louder and louder "Run!" and then continues
With the words:
Run! Like you have never run before. cuz this monster is real
I wish I could wash your dirt away...
I wish I could dry your tears today
Nothing lasts forever, one day you'll be queen and all
But for now, hide your face in me

My Time
08:26
|

SC.10 INT. Chicago small diner. Afternoon
Bunny and Daisy are having a today's special and coffee, Bunny's talking on her phone
There's the Chicago Midnight Jazz band playing on the radio with the 'Scapegod' track yet again
Bunny: [cheerfully] You heard about this Underworld thing?
You got it, right? Ha ha ha
[laughs]
Yeah. He told me it's
All fun! Laura says it's SWELL! [laughs again]
Better than fucking anything! [listens]
[lowers her voice] I wanna try it. [listens again]
Oh! Ok, ok. Kiss kiss. [hangs up, turns to Daisy]
Daisy: So you're like still with that other guy?
Bunny: Nooo... You silly! He's Stan's friend
Daisy: Mmm... [with obvious admiration] Stan's sweet!
Bunny: [laughs] Forget it, Daisy. He's hanging out with that metal chic
Daisy: Oh, she looks creepy... She looks like Abaddon in Slipknot merch, all tattooed. Her name is Alice
Bunny: Yeah, yeah. She looks like a slut
Daisy: Gross. He'll dump her
Bunny: You just have a thing for Stan
Daisy: [exaggeratedly] Nnnno! [laughs] Ok, I have. But he's not as cute as Cas
Bunny: Quit watching TV shows or you won't be graduating this year
Daisy: But Cas is gorgeous!
Bunny: Not as Dean!
[both laugh]
Daisy: We won't go to the cabin this weekend. There's this cop sneaking around. He's been asking questions about that murder
Bunny: I don't like cops!
Daisy: Yeah. Cops are dumb
Bunny: Totes! And creepy
The diner ambiance pitches down. A weird tone noise hangs for a while
Alice: Night. I own the night. And what I don't own, I take
Alice sings:
Night... My time
I might have been a better girl
I could have been a nothingness
I would have been a happy waste
A loved, and fucked, and cherished common place
It might have been a Peach's case
I could have had myself erased
But ended up on a lost highway
So fire walk with me, fire walk with me
Night... I might have been, I might have been...
My time. I could have been, I could have been
Night... I should have been, I should have been
My time
And the night owns me...

Kitten Waltz
06:44
|
|||
SC.11 EXT. Kids and their caretakers play on a playground. Day
There's a loop of the waltz playing in the background. The loop
Is weird and eerie
Lily: Daddy, I wanna dance!
Daddy: Darling, sweetheart... You can't be doing that
Lily: But why, Daddy?
Daddy: This dance requires both legs, darling
Lily: [sobbing] But who cares?
Daddy: Well... People will be watching
Lily: Tell them it's ok. They have to understand it's ok!
Daddy: [sighs] I can't risk my reputation...
Lily: Daddy, you're a moron!
The waltz starts playing. The playground ambiance gradually fades into the music. Then it fades in back again when the track is over. A southerner who played the waltz walks up to Daddy
SC.11.1
Morgan: Hey! Howdy, man. I'm Morgan
Daddy: Howdy to you, Morgan. Nice to meet you. I'm Dan
Morgan: Nice, Dan. May I call you Danny? Like the Shining Danny...
Daddy: What's the Shining?
Morgan: Ah... Forget it. You don't have it anyway. [after a pause] I wanna ask you something, man
Daddy: Talk to me
Morgan: I was playing this waltz for years. And kids were dancing... Ha! My lil Jack and Jill danced to it. Kids got dizzy, that's how they danced!
Daddy: Those two blondes?
Morgan: Yeah. Sweet kids. I love them, man! [pauses] Your lil girl didn't dance. Why? All kids had fun
Daddy: Well...
Morgan: Tell me
Daddy: There's a problem. She thinks she has one leg
Morgan: Jesus Christ! How come?
Daddy: I don't know, man. I keep saying she's wrong, but she wouldn't listen
Morgan: Ah! This is a very strange world, Danny. I thought you might have that Shining thing. But you haven't. Your girl thinks she has one leg. But she has both. Strange world, man. Very strange

SC.12 INT. Lily just woke up and she's crying
Lily: I'm sorry... I...
Mystery Girl: What is it, Lily?
Lily: I thought when I woke up... I thought sleep would do it...
Mystery Girl: What's wrong?
Lily: I don't know who I am...
Mystery Girl: What do you mean? You're Lily
Lily: I'm not. I don't know what my name is... I don't know who I am!
Mystery Girl: This is your purse. Your name must be in your purse. You want to know, don't you?
Lily: I... yes, but... I...
Mystery Girl: Open it!
The track starts with Alice singing:
[verse]
It's been a long long way from hell...
[hook]
You want me blinded
Your bitch in your death charade
Controlled and guided
But you won't rain on my parade!
It's all beneath my skin
It's tightening within
And I don't know where to hide
And what to do...
[hook]
You want me blinded
Your bitch in your death charade
Controlled and guided
But you won't rain on my parade!
The shit is deep in its origin
You're blaming me for your every sin
But I'm taking it with just a grin
Cuz I'm a scapegod under my skin
The shit is deep in its origin
You're blaming me for your every sin
But drop it, man, you will never win
Cuz I am my god under my skin
Danny Torrance hallucinates in the Chalebridge Cradle Mental Hospital. He shouts then
Screams louder and louder "Stop it! Stop it! Please stop it! Please!" reaching the top of his voice
He dies of a heart attack
SC.12.1 INT. Chicago Police Homicide Division. Inspector Trudeau's office. Morning
Curtis: With all due respect, inspector, there has to be something
Trudeau: Unfortunately... despite our highly cooperative locals here, it seems to be a dead end, agent
Curtis: I wouldn't be so sure about that. I've got a feeling the killer will show up again
Trudeau: [thoughtfully] Dropping bodies...
Curtis: Killers always drop bodies. That's what they are
Trudeau: But what if the killer wasn't quite a killer?
Curtis: ...And the vic wasn't quite a vic? [laughs] Interesting theory, inspector. But so far it didn't help on our investigation
Trudeau: Right. But it's a strange world, very strange world
